Getting to San Diego
Airports
San Diego International Airport (SAN) is the primary airport servicing the greater San Diego area. Rancho Santa Fe is located about 45 minutes north from the airport in light traffic. If you’re interested in exploring, we highly recommend renting a car either at the airport, at one of the satellite locations of well-known providers, or via the Turo app.
Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) is roughly 2 hours from Rancho Santa Fe via car. While California’s Route 1 (“PCH”) and Interstate Route 5 run directly from LA to San Diego, please note that each become congested and travel time can vary greatly (1.5 - 3.5 hours).

With average temperatures ranging from the mid-60s to low 80s, it's the perfect time to enjoy sunny skies without the oppressive heat many of our guests will likely be experiencing at home!
Don't forget a light jacket or wrap for cooler evenings, as temperatures can drop just a bit when the sun sets. With the mild coastal breeze, you'll experience the perfect balance of warm days and cool nights.
